SSL Turned Off for Breeze
Breeze server administrators, support staff, and Adobe engineers have identified the source for the connection problems with Breeze Meeting services over the last few weeks. Adobe confirmed that Intel Mac clients interacting with a Breeze server set-up with SSL (Secure Sockets Layers encryption) causes the server to crash.
Based on this information, we have determined that disabling SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for Breeze Meeting services will correct this problem and stabilize breeze meeting services.
Effective immediately, SSL encryption for Breeze Meeting services has been disabled. Since SSL secures communication and content broadcast during a Breeze meeting, until further notice, all Breeze meetings referring to private information should follow HIPAA guidelines for securing private data.
Breeze server administrators and Adobe technicians are working on a solution for re-enabling SSL for Breeze Meeting services. We will update all Breeze users when SSL is re-enabled.
