Breeze Home > Support and FAQ > Breeze 4.1 to Breeze 5.1 Migration FAQ > Which Version of Breeze Should I Use?
I have Breeze content on both the Breeze 4.1 server and the Breeze 5.1 server. Which should I use?
To make the transition to Breeze 5.1 as smooth as possible, both versions of Breeze (4.1 & 5.1) will be available during spring semester. Breeze 4.1 content (i.e. presentations, meetings, and meeting recordings) were migrated to Breeze 5.1 on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 5 pm. Because of this migration, a copy of your content can be found on the Breeze 4.1 Server and the Breeze 5.1 server. Which version should you use?
We recommend that you begin using Breeze 5.1 as soon as possible. Breeze 5.1 includes many new and enhanced features that may be useful to you.
If you are not ready to move to Breeze 5.1, you can continue to use Breeze 4.1 during the transition period. Please note that there are some limitations on Breeze 4.1 services and that the Breeze 4.1 server will go offline during summer 2006. If you create new presentations on the Breeze 4.1 server after the migration date (i.e. Feb. 1, 2006), you must manually migrate your presentation to the Breeze 5.1 server. Meetings and meeting recordings will not be migrated to Breeze 5.1 after the migration date.
